Pecan Butter

 Do you love almond butter?

Try this pecan butter at home, for a cheaper alternative to almond butter in the store.

This recipe is super simple. You can use anything from pecan pieces to pecan halves to make it! We prefer using the Chopped Small Pecan Pieces, but it really doesn't matter what you use!

Instructions:
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Spread the nuts out onto a rimmed baking sheet. Roast for 5 to 6 minutes, until fragrant and toasted.
  3. Let nuts cool for 4-5 minutes and add to the food processor while they’re still warm. Process for about 3 to 4 minutes until nice and creamy.
  4. Add vanilla and cinnamon*. Scrape the sides of the food processor and process again for about 1-2 minutes.
  5. Transfer to a jar & enjoy**!

    * You can add any spices you may like. Pumpkin pie spice and nutmeg are great as well. You may also like to add a dash of honey or maple syrup for a sweeter taste.
** Use within 1 month of making. Refrigerate after making.
