Maple Pecan French Toast
Texas Toast
4 Eggs
¼ cup Heavy Cream
2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 tsp Maple Extract
1 tbsp Butter
½ cup Chopped Pecan Pieces
Maple Syrup
Whipped Maple Pecan Butter
1 cup Butter, room temperature
½ cup Brown Sugar
1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
½ tsp Nutmeg
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 tsp Maple Extract
½ cup Chopped Pecan Pieces
Instructions:
Maple Pecan French Toast
- In a shallow bowl, mix together eggs, heavy cream, cinnamon, vanilla, and maple extract.
- Soak both sides of the Texas toast in the mixture. While that is soaking, melt butter in a frying pan.
- Fry toast on both sides for about 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from the pan, spread on maple pecan butter, pour maple syrup over the butter, and top with chopped pecan pieces.
- Enjoy!
Whipped Maple Pecan Butter
- In a bowl, using an electric mixer, mix together butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, and maple extract.
- Stir in chopped pecan pieces.
- Use on top of Maple Pecan French Toast Recipe or anything you want!
